I am voting NO on Prop 27 – the Corporate Online Gambling Proposition – on the November 2022 ballot. Prop 27 would legalize online and mobile sports gambling in California, turning virtually every cell phone, tablet and computer into a gambling device. I signed up to be a part of the statewide coalition opposing Prop 27, and I hope you will join me!
Here's why I am voting NO on Prop 27:
- Prop 27 would legalize online sports gambling across California, turning virtually every cell phone, tablet and computer into a gambling device – escalating the risks of addiction and problem gambling.
- Prop 27 would send 90% of profits out of state without creating jobs or making ANY real investments in this state.
- Prop 27 would break the promise California voters made to tribes – jeopardizing Indian self-reliance and eroding tribal sovereignty. That’s why 50+ California Indian tribes OPPOSE Prop 27.
- Prop 27 is NOT a solution to homelessness! Look no further than the State Lottery – Prop 27 is a deceptive scheme intended to hide the real intent behind the measure: to legalize a massive expansion of online gambling!
